Formation is about the habits and practices which shape new ways of being the church. Cultivation is an ancient word taken from agricultural practices. It is an organic metaphor of the gardener or farmer who understands that the life and purpose of plants or crops is not something over which the farmer has a great deal of control. We see good leadership as cultivation in providing the environment in which people can be formed into disciples who grow deeper roots into Christ in faith and also go bear much fruit . Finally, it means trusting the Spirit of God who wills to produce fruit, but who will not be controlled by our petty notions and agendas. Some expressions of this are: - MEG
- APW
- Monday Morning Discussion
- Tuesday Night Group
And a number of more informal small groups meeting at each Hub.
